Behind every program and event at God’s Best Family is a dedicated team of leaders, staff, and volunteers committed to serving Baltimore’s youth and families.

Turell Brooks – President & Director
Provides strategic leadership and oversees organizational growth, partnerships, and sustainability. -
LaShaun Gibson – Vice President
Supports executive leadership, strengthens organizational operations, and provides oversight for program planning and community initiatives. -
Roxanne Key – Secretary
Ensures organizational records, communications, and governance needs are managed with transparency and accuracy. -
Aisha Wilson – Treasurer / Marketing & Events Coordinator
Oversees financial management and sustainability while also coordinating events, sponsorships, and communications. Provides grant writing and reporting support to ensure alignment between GBF’s mission and funding opportunities. -
April Moore – Outreach
Coordinates outreach, community engagement, and partnership development to expand GBF’s reach and resources. -
Erin Lonon – Volunteer Coordinator
Recruits, trains, and supports volunteers to ensure GBF programs and events have the people power they need.
Program Support

Youth Program Volunteers & Mentors – Deliver tutoring, enrichment, mentorship, and summer camp programming.

Peer Mentors & Teen Leaders – Serve as role models, guiding younger participants and building leadership skills.

Community Partners & Volunteers – Support recovery programs, holiday events, and family engagement activities.
